Gastroenterology – Hospital Care Welcomes Leigh Ann Cochran, FNP

Leigh Ann Cochran, FNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Gastroenterology – Hospital Care, where she provides care for hospitalized patients with gastrointestinal issues.

Cochran received her Master of Science in nursing from the University of Mississippi School of Nursing in Jackson, Miss.

Cochran is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

At Gastroenterology – Hospital Care, Cochran provides evaluation and treatment for hospitalized patients with intestinal tract, liver and pancreatic care needs. The team treats a range of digestive issues, such as gallstones, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis, hepatitis and cirrhosis.

“I enjoy working in health care because it’s a continuous learning experience where I get to help others improve health and outcomes,” Cochran said.
