REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

Registered nurses play a vital role in today’s health care industry. They are on the frontline of the medical workforce and are responsible for delivering hands-on patient care in various settings, including hospitals and doctor’s offices, assisted living facilities and outpatient health centers.

Working as a health care team member, the RN provides a wide range of patient services, including preventative and primary care, educating patients about disease prevention, operating medical equipment and administering medications.

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

Under the direction of doctors, registered nurses, and other licensed medical practitioners, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic patient care and nursing to patients in hospitals and health care settings.

They can also help in various health care settings to support the work of nurse practitioners and physicians by providing basic assessment skills such as physical exams, medication administration, and assisting in wound care.

CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

A medical assistant is a professional who performs both administrative and routine clinical tasks in a medical setting. Medical assistants commonly work in physicians’ offices, outpatient clinics, hospitals, assisted living facilities and both privately-operated and government-run health centers. These professionals frequently take on clinical responsibilities like assisting medical practitioners during routine clinical exams.

MEDICAL TECHNICIAN
