Rogness Retires after 17 Years
Hattiesburg Clinic would like to offer gratitude and best wishes to Andrew H. Rogness, MD, who retired from the clinic after 17 years. Dr. Rogness has been a valued member of the Hattiesburg Clinic Critical Care Medicine and Hattiesburg Clinic Pulmonary Medicine teams and will be greatly missed by staff and colleagues.
During his time at the clinic, Rogness has made a lasting impact through his clinical skill and commitment to patient-centered care. He has been a steady, compassionate presence to both patients and colleagues, known for his thoughtful approach in even high-pressure situations.
“Dr. Rogness’s contributions to our team and to the health of this community are immeasurable,” Deborah Courtney, manager of Pulmonary Medicine said. “We are incredibly grateful for his years of service and wish him all the best in this next chapter.”
Rogness’s colleagues echo that sentiment, noting his leadership, humility and mentorship over the years. “Dr. Rogness has always led with kindness, humility and professionalism,” Charles R. McCollum, III, MD, a fellow physician said. “He’s been a wonderful mentor and friend to so many of us, and he will be greatly missed.”
As he prepares for retirement, Rogness leaves behind a legacy of care, dedication and excellence that will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
