Box Joins Dermatology – South
Kara H. Box, FNP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Dermatology – South, located at 3 Thompson Park, in Hattiesburg, Miss.
As a nurse practitioner with Dermatology – South, Box works alongside Elizabeth Francis Rose, MD, FAAD, to provide comprehensive dermatologic care for all ages, skin types and skin conditions.
Box received her Master of Science in nursing at Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, Miss. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association.
Prior to joining Dermatology – South, Box served as a nurse practitioner with Hattiesburg Clinic Spine Center for nearly three years. She also brings five years of dermatology experience, providing care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics. Her background includes treating a wide range of skin conditions such as acne, hair loss, eczema and rashes, as well as performing comprehensive skin exams to help detect and prevent skin cancer.
“I am passionate about educating patients on sun protection and helping them choose skin care products that support their individual goals,” Box said.
