Thomas E. “Clay” King, III, MD, is joining Hattiesburg Clinic Weight Management located at 6414 Hwy. 98 W., Ste. 120 in Hattiesburg, Miss.
King joined Hattiesburg Clinic in 2004. Prior to his time at Weight Management, King served as a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service for nearly 22 years. King also currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Medicine for Hattiesburg Clinic.
Dr. King received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.
At Weight Management, he provides comprehensive obesity medicine services to patients. Weight Management has lowered its BMI eligibility requirement to 27 for patients with qualifying comorbidities and is now accepting self-referrals.
