Meet Brandie Carney, RN
Meet Brandie Carney, RN, manager of the Hattiesburg Clinic Pain Management Health Center and Hattiesburg Clinic Physical Medicine and Interventional Pain – Lincoln Center. In her role, she oversees day-to-day operations, ensuring that employees, staff and providers have the support they need to provide excellent care to patients.
When asked what she enjoys most about her work, Carney’s answer is simple: the people she works with. “Nurses are natural helpers, problem-solvers and fixers, and taking care of our people here like they are family makes me happy,” Carney says.
Over the past 10 years with Hattiesburg Clinic, Carney has gained valuable knowledge and experience. “As a nurse, I have had so many other nurses with more experience to learn from,” she explains. “As a manager, I have learned to see the bigger picture of health care and apply it to help provide our patients with the best care possible. I have also built friendships and connections with colleagues I can always call for help or guidance.”
Born and raised in Columbia, Miss., Carney graduated from Columbia High School before attending nursing school at Jones College. As a registered nurse, Carney has experience in many fields including ophthalmology, dialysis and family medicine.
Outside of work, Carney enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband, Jason, for 26 years, and together they have three children. Carney spends much of her free time at baseball and football fields, cheering on her kids and enjoying high school and college games.
Carney’s commitment to her team with compassion, integrity and respect reflect Hattiesburg Clinic’s values to accomplish the goal to provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Thank you, Brandie, for the outstanding work you do!
