Psychology & Counseling Welcomes Ashley Haynes Holford, LCSW

Ashley Haynes Holford, LCSW, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Psychology & Counseling.

At Psychology & Counseling, Ms. Holford provides outpatient individual therapy to adults who are experiencing problems with depression, anxiety, trauma stress, grief and other issues that affect people mentally and emotionally as they cope with stressors and changes in life. Her goal is to provide a supportive and caring environment for patients to help foster positive change, improve quality of life, and equip them with effective tools to assist them in achieving their goals.

Ms. Holford received her Bachelor of Public Administration from the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Miss., and her Master of Social Work from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Miss.

She is licensed in social work by the state of Mississippi. She has special practice interests in workplace stress and career issues, stress management, women’s issues, anxiety and depression.

“I greatly enjoy assisting people in making changes in their lives which result in improving their quality of life both personally and professionally. Being a part of that process with my patients is a very rewarding experience for me,” Holford said.
