Steven W. Burkett, DO, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Richton Family Medicine.
Dr. Burkett received his medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Miss., and completed his family medicine residency at EC – HealthNet Family Medicine Residency Program in Meridian, Miss.
Burkett is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. He has a special practice interest in osteopathic manipulation treatment and is a member of Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association, Mississippi State Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.
At Richton Family Medicine, Burkett provides comprehensive evaluation and care to meet family health needs, including care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol, sick visits for children and adults, preventative care, wellness visits, sports physicals and well-child visits.
