Muthanna M. H. Al-Ghuraibawi, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service.
Dr. Al-Ghuraibawi received his medical degree from the University of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. He completed his internship in general medicine at AI-Imamain Al-Kadhimain Medical City in Baghdad, and his internal medicine internship at Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. He also completed his residency in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center, part of the One Brooklyn Health medical group, in Brooklyn, N.Y.
At Hospital Care Service, he provides care for patients in the hospital. Al-Ghuraibawi monitors patients’ conditions, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. He also coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure that the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
