Hussam A. Khan, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service.
Dr. Khan received his medical degree from Dow University of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at One Brooklyn Health Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
At Hospital Care Service, Khan is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for adults during hospitalization. He monitors their condition, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. He also coordinates patients’ inpatient care with their primary care physician to ensure patients receive timely and effective care and have a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
His goal is to ensure every patient feels supported, fully informed and confident in their care plan by taking the time to listen, build trust and address each patient’s concerns during challenging health situations.
