Brian E. Humpherys, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
Dr. Humpherys is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, Mississippi State Medical Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Humpherys has over 25 years of experience in the medical field. He is fellowship trained in sports medicine procedures including rotator cuff repair, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction and meniscus surgery. He specializes in robotic- assisted total knee replacement, direct anterior total hip replacement, total shoulder replacement and reverse total shoulder replacement.
Humpherys received his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. He completed an internship at Michigan State University/Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies in Kalamazoo, Mich., and his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine with Toledo Orthopaedic Surgeons in Toledo, Ohio.
Outside of work, Dr. Humpherys enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
