Chieh Yang, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service.
Dr. Yang received her medical degree from Taipei Medical Universityin Taipei, Taiwan. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Riverside in Riverside, Ca., and fellowship in hospice and palliative care at State University of New York at Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y.
At Hospital Care Service, she provides care for patients in the hospital. Yang monitors patients’ conditions, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. She also coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
