Hospital Care Service Welcomes Anam Hamid, MD
Anam Hamid, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service, where she provides care for patients in the hospital.
Dr. Hamid received her medical degree from Quaid-e-Azam Medical College in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, Miss., and her residency in internal medicine at Memorial Health System in Gulfport, Miss.
Hamid is a member of the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. She has a special practice interest in general internal medicine.
At Hospital Care Service, she monitors conditions, manages treatment plans and coordinates care for hospitalized patients to ensure a smooth transition to outpatient care.
“I chose a career in medicine because I love solving complex health problems and building real relationships with my patients. It is a personal commitment to the health and well-being of my neighbors, friends and community,” Hamid said.
