Anesthesiology Welcomes Kathleen S. Lyons, MD

Kathleen S. Lyons, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Anesthesiology, where she provides expertise for all types of surgical anesthesia including general, local and epidural, as well as pain management.

Lyons received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. She completed both her internship and residency in anesthesiology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss.

She is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiology, the American Society of Regional Anesthesiology and the Mississippi State Medical Association.

At Anesthesiology, she provides care for patients before, during and after surgery.

“I chose anesthesia because of its collaborative environment. I value how pharmacology directly affects patient physiology,” Lyons says.
