Hospital Care Service Welcomes Muthanna M. H. Al-Ghuraibawi, MD

Muthanna M. H. Al-Ghuraibawi, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service, where he provides care for patients exclusively while they are in the hospital.

Dr. Al-Ghuraibawi received his medical degree from the University of Al-Mustansiriyah College of Medicine in Baghdad, Iraq. He completed his internship in general medicine at AI-Imamain Al-Kadhimain Medical City in Baghdad, and his internal medicine internship at Shaikh Zayed Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. He also completed his residency in internal medicine at Interfaith Medical Center, part of the One Brooklyn Health medical group, in Brooklyn, N.Y.

At Hospital Care Service, Al-Ghuraibawi monitors patients’ conditions, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. He also coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure that the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.

“Caring for patients during a hospital stay is a unique responsibility. My goal is to provide attentive, efficient care while helping patients and their families feel informed and supported every step of the way,” Al-Ghuraibawi said.
