Internal Medicine Welcomes Jill K. Bailey, DO
Jill K. Bailey, DO, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Internal Medicine, where she is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that primarily affect adults.
Dr. Bailey received her medical degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Jonesboro, Ark. She completed her residency in internal medicine at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro.
Bailey is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine, the Obesity Medicine Association, the American College of Physicians and the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She has special practice interests in preventative care, management of diabetes and hypertension, nutrition and obesity medicine and palliative care.
At Internal Medicine, she is dedicated to monitoring the big picture for patients and providing the best care and support to improve quality of life.
“Internal medicine is a holistic practice that patients come to appreciate under various circumstances. Through providing supportive care, helping to navigate treatment options and focusing on overall wellness, I hope to assist in slowing disease progression and alleviating some of the burden created by receiving/fearing a diagnosis,” Bailey said.
