Hattiesburg Clinic Celebrates Opening of Immediate Care – Bellevue
Hattiesburg Clinic hosted a ribbon cutting and open house on Thursday, May 21, 2026, to celebrate the opening of Hattiesburg Clinic Immediate Care – Bellevue. Community members, clinic leadership and staff gathered from 4 to 6 p.m. for the event, which highlighted the expansion of urgent care services in West Hattiesburg.
The ribbon cutting ceremony took place at 4:30 p.m., marking the official introduction of Immediate Care – Bellevue as part of the existing Hattiesburg Clinic – Bellevue campus. The clinic is located within a multi-specialty setting that also includes Bellevue Family Medicine, Eye Associates, Eye Associates Optical, Bellevue Physical Therapy and Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine – Bellevue.
Bryan N. Batson, MD, chief executive officer of Hattiesburg Clinic, spoke during the ceremony about the significance of expanding services in the area and the role it plays in improving access to care. “Immediate Care – Bellevue represents an important step in expanding access to care in West Hattiesburg,” Dr. Batson said. “This location allows us to better meet patients where they are and continue strengthening the coordinated, patient-centered care our community expects from Hattiesburg Clinic.”
W. Allen Martin, DO, with Bellevue Family Medicine, shared how the new service enhances care options for patients, particularly when medical needs arise outside of traditional office hours. “This clinic helps bring urgent care services closer to home for patients in West Hattiesburg,” Dr. Martin said. “Many of the needs we see in immediate care happen after hours or on weekends, and having a location like this allows us to respond to those needs in a timely and convenient way while keeping patients connected to their ongoing care.”
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, attendees toured the facility and enjoyed a western-themed “Trail to Better Health” open house, featuring barbecue and refreshments. The event offered community members an opportunity to explore the space and connect with clinic staff.
Immediate Care – Bellevue offers extended hours during the week as well as weekend availability, providing convenient access to care for non-emergent illnesses and minor injuries. Express visits and telehealth options are also available.
