Hospital Care Service Welcomes Yasir Ali, MD
Yasir Ali, MD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Hospital Care Service, where he provides care for patients in the hospital.
Dr. Ali received his medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Nazareth Hospital, Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic in Philadelphia, Pa.
At Hospital Care Service, he provides care for patients in the hospital. He monitors their condition, orders and interprets diagnostic tests and adjusts treatment plans as needed. He also coordinates a patient’s hospital care with his or her primary care physician to ensure that the patient receives timely and effective care and has a smooth transition back to outpatient treatment.
“I have always felt a strong urge to help those in need. Serving patients and improving their health give purpose to my career,” Ali said.
