Meet Kathy Vanderslice with Hattiesburg Clinic Print Center
For more than two decades, Kathy Vanderslice has been a dedicated member of the Hattiesburg Clinic team, helping ensure employees and patients across the organization have the printed materials they need to keep operations running smoothly.
As printing coordinator, Vanderslice manages the daily flow of print orders and works closely with associates to make sure every project meets quality standards and deadlines. Whether it is patient forms, flyers, signage or other printed materials, she takes pride in delivering exactly what her customers need.
“What I enjoy most is knowing that the work I do directly supports our clinical staff and patients across all of our regional locations,” Vanderslice said. “Because I handle everything in the Print Center from start to finish, I get to see firsthand how a clearly designed patient form, a flyer or a brightly printed piece of clinic signage helps our facilities run smoothly.”
For Vanderslice, the most rewarding part of her role is knowing that her work contributes to the success of both the main clinic and satellite locations by helping coworkers and patients. When reflecting on her time at the clinic, Vanderslice says the greatest gift has been the sense of community she has found throughout her career.
“Over the past 23 years, what I have gained most from working at Hattiesburg Clinic is a profound sense of community and family,” she said. “Watching the clinic grow and expand its care across Mississippi has been an incredible journey to be a part of. Knowing that my work supports a network that has become such an integral part of my own life and community is something I deeply value.”
Born in Texarkana, Texas, Vanderslice spent her childhood moving frequently because her father served in the Air Force. She later graduated from Petal High School and has carried the values of dedication and hard work throughout her career.
Vanderslice and her husband are high school sweethearts who recently celebrated 40 years of marriage. Together, they have two children and one grandchild. Much of her free time is spent with family, but she also enjoys crafting and making creative projects using her Cricut® and heat press to make personalized keepsakes and gifts for friends and family.
When asked to describe herself in three words, Vanderslice chose dedicated, determined and dependable. Thank you, Kathy, for taking on this important role that supports so many of Hattiesburg Clinic’s patients, employees and departments.

KV: I would love to become a good DIYer—the kind of person who can look at something and say, “I can make that!” Unfortunately, the measuring and math part usually has other plans for me.
