Meet Diana House with Hattiesburg Clinic EpicCare
Meet Diana House, with Hattiesburg Clinic EpicCare, who plays a vital role in ensuring both patients and providers have the tools they need to provide exceptional care. With seven and a half years at the clinic, House serves as a system analyst working directly with surgical and anesthesia teams through electronic medical record (EMR) build and training.
She works behind the scenes to ensure physicians and providers can focus on what matters most: patient care. For House, the most rewarding part of her job is improving workflows. “It’s the best feeling when I can take a cumbersome task and make it easier for end users,” she shares. “That allows them to spend more time focusing on patients.”
House enjoys the ever-evolving nature of her department. As technology advances, so do the systems she helps manage, keeping her work dynamic and engaging. Over the years, her experience at the clinic has strengthened her problem-solving skills, especially when tackling complex workflow challenges.
Originally born in Meridian and raised in Gulfport, House attended the University of South Alabama. Her journey into health care technology started as a medical technologist at Forrest General Hospital.
Outside of work, she and her husband, who have been together for 24 years and married for 18, enjoy traveling and taking their two sons to college football games. At home, she likes to unwind with a good book or spend time with her dog. She is also currently training for her first marathon alongside her two best friends. If given the chance to learn something new, House would choose sign language, inspired by the expressive communication and value she sees from interpreters at concerts.
Her creativity, innovation and passion for improving systems makes her an invaluable part of the EpicCare team and the clinic as a whole. Thank you, Diana, for your continued dedication to our patients and staff!
