Meet Clark Hartfield with Hattiesburg Clinic Physical Plant
Meet Clark Hartfield, with Hattiesburg Clinic Physical Plant, where he works behind the scenes to ensure facilities are efficient and prepared for patient care. As a carpenter, Hartfield helps shape the environments we use every day.
Since joining the clinic in May 2023, Hartfield has been dedicated to remodeling and upgrading spaces across the organization. His work goes far beyond construction as he collaborates closely with managers, physicians and nurses to create workspaces that are not only functional, but also efficient and aesthetically pleasing. His attention to detail ensures that each space supports both staff workflows and patient comfort.
What Hartfield enjoys most about his role is seeing a project come full circle. “I enjoy seeing the finished product and satisfying the staff,” he shares. That sense of accomplishment drives his work and reflects the pride he takes in contributing to the clinic’s mission. During his time at Hattiesburg Clinic, Hartfield says he has gained valuable people skills which are an essential part of the collaborative, fast-paced health care setting.
Outside of work, Hartfield enjoys spending time gardening, working out at the gym and being with his family. He and his wife have been married for 22 years and have two sons. A Hattiesburg native, Clark was raised in Oak Grove, where he attended Oak Grove High School. His background includes experience in homebuilding, commercial construction and previously owning a water restoration company.
Hartfield’s craftsmanship and commitment help Hattiesburg Clinic continue to provide a welcoming and well-designed environment for both patients and staff. His work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is felt throughout the entire organization. Thank you, Clark, for your continued dedication to our patients and staff!
