Sharlie Chambliss selected as Hattiesburg Clinic’s Employee of the Quarter
Sharlie Chambliss has been selected as Hattiesburg Clinic’s Employee of the Quarter for her compassion for and dedication to others.
Chambliss, a scheduling coordinator at Hattiesburg Clinic Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, was recognized for her willingness to go above and beyond for an employee during a medical emergency. Without hesitation, Chambliss jumped into action, taking the employee to the emergency room and waiting with them until their manager arrived. She provided steadfast support and advocated for the employee, never leaving their side.
As noted by Shari Evans, manager of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, “They [the employee] were so grateful for Sharlie and her compassion when they were not feeling their best.”
Chambliss’s commitment to others extends to the success of her coworkers.
“Sharlie trained me from day one and I am still asking her questions,” Megan Aultman, a certified medical assistant with Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, said. “She goes above and beyond to always have my back and to always answer my questions and help me when she can, even on her busiest days.”
This recognition is a testament to Chambliss’s exemplification of Hattiesburg Clinic’s values of integrity, commitment and compassion, and her willingness to pour into those around her, ensuring they are cared for and equipped for success.
The Employee of the Quarter is selected from nominations by an employee’s peers, managers and patients and then is chosen by the WOW! Committee, a team of people from all clinic levels.
