Shawn Fayard Presented with Cheers from Your Peers
The WOW! Committee would like to congratulate Shawn Fayard, LAT, ATC, on receiving the Cheers from Your Peers award. Shawn was nominated for consistently going above and beyond his role at Hattiesburg Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
His colleagues praised his dedication to patient care, noting his willingness to stay late, assist outside the clinic setting and step in wherever needed. He is known for small but meaningful gestures – offering water on a hot day, walking patients to their vehicles in the rain – as well as going above and beyond in other tasks, including equipment management, facility upkeep and staff support.
Cassie Stringer, clinical manager at Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, shared, “Shawn shows up to open our doors when needed. He stays late to lock our doors daily. He never complains. He constantly and consistently shows up. Without Shawn, Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine would be missing an essential piece.”
