Sherri Muchenberger Receives Cheers from Your Peers
The WOW! Committee recently celebrated Sherri Muchenberger, LPN, with Hattiesburg Clinic Surgery, for receiving Cheers from Your Peers. Ms. Muchenberger is being recognized for her compassion, patience and dedication to patient care.
In a WOW! nomination, Janet Crawford, manager of Surgery, shared how Ms. Muchenberger provided exceptional care to a patient needing assistance with wound care. She took extra time to ensure the patient felt comfortable, respected and at ease throughout the visit, approaching each step with kindness and attentiveness.
Ms. Muchenberger also went beyond clinical care to assist the patient with personal needs prior to discharge. Her thoughtful actions and steady compassion made a meaningful difference during a vulnerable moment.
