Hanna Hartfield Presented with Cheers from Your Peers
The WOW! Committee would like to congratulate Hanna Hartfield, a certified medical assistant (CMA) with Hattiesburg Clinic Sumrall Medical Center, on receiving the Cheers from Your Peers award. Hanna was nominated for going above and beyond to meet a critical staffing need.
When Sumrall Medical Center was looking to fill a CMA position, Hanna stepped up in an extraordinary way. While continuing her full-time role as a receptionist, she enrolled in an online CMA course – balancing work, life and studies. In a short time, she completed the program, earned her certification and transitioned into a new role.
Ben Bullock, manager at Sumrall Medical Center, shared, “We are proud to have Hanna as a part of our team here at Hattiesburg Clinic and look forward to continuing to watch her grow into her new role as a CMA.”
