Primary Care

Hattiesburg Clinic’s primary care teams also work alongside our mental and behavioral health specialists. Our primary care physicians and pediatricians, as well as other providers, can also assist in the medicine management of certain acute mental and behavioral health concerns while an individual is receiving mental or behavioral health counseling. When appropriate, they can refer to a specialist who can also care for the patient’s mental or behavioral health needs. Patients can sometimes receive medicine management from their primary care physician or pediatrician without additional counseling or therapy services.
