The Hattiesburg Clinic Laboratory holds a certificate of compliance from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued by the Mississippi State Department of Health. The laboratory is inspected on a regular basis to ensure that all regulations and specifications of CLIA are met. Operating in this capacity, the Clinic’s laboratory accepts specimens and performs lab work for our physicians and referring physicians.
The laboratory is staffed with experienced phlebotomists and clinical laboratory scientists. Additionally, the phlebotomy staff is trained via externship and the medical technologists are certified through the American Society of Clinical Pathology.
