Hattiesburg Clinic Sponsors disentangleAD Caregiver Conference

Hattiesburg Clinic recently served as a sponsor for the 5th Annual disentangleAD Caregiver Conference, held on Friday, Nov. 4, 2022.

disentangleAD is a local organization that helps support the care of Alzheimer’s disease through fundraising and educational efforts. Their mission is to provide financial assistance to caregivers of Alzheimer’s patients living in the Pine Belt. The Caregiver Conference serves as a resource to help those who care for patients or family members who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

Ronald L. Schwartz, MD, CPI, director of Hattiesburg Clinic Memory Center, was the introductory speaker at the conference.

“We want to thank all of our sponsors and vendors, as their contributions make it possible for us continue our goal of supporting those who work tirelessly to care for loved ones suffering with dementia,” Schwartz said.

As a sponsor, Hattiesburg Clinic had a booth set up at the conference, where clinic representatives helped educate conference attendees on the importance of having a primary care physician to help coordinate a patient’s care.
