New Primary Care Clinic Opens in Flowood
Hattiesburg Clinic is now providing care in Flowood, Miss., with the official opening of Flowood Primary Care.
The new clinic will be home to five physicians, including Christopher D. Boston, MD; Jennifer J. Bryan, MD; Stephen C. Hammack, MD, FAAFP; Lisa M. Keeling, MD; and C. Andrew Ouzts, MD. These physicians will be providing primary care in a variety of areas, including family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics and sports medicine, which allows them to provide comprehensive care to entire families – from infants and athletes to parents and grandparents.
All five Jackson-area physicians have expressed their enthusiasm around the clinic’s expansion to the community.

Bryan N. Batson, MD, Chief Executive Officer at Hattiesburg Clinic, said the decision to expand into the Jackson community was done with great thought and consideration.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to provide care here,” Batson stated. “Many of our physicians received some or all of their medical training in Jackson, and we have a history of strong relationships with several medical facilities and providers in the area, which helped us in our decision-making process.”
Batson believes that expanding to Flowood will create an opportunity for Hattiesburg Clinic to bring its vision of quality health care to an entirely new community of patients.
“Hattiesburg Clinic opened its doors for the first time in 1963 when 10 physicians came together with a vision of how they could improve health care in their community. Today, the clinic continues with that same goal in mind as we have grown to serve 18 counties in Mississippi,” Batson explained. “I believe those founding physicians would be proud to know we remain focused on those same patient- and community-centered goals of excellence and service in Flowood.”
Dr. Ouzts said their focus is the future.
