Aaron Adams may be new to Mississippi, but he’s a veteran when it comes to working in health care.

Adams spent 13 years as a clinic manager at Providence Saint Joseph Health in Oregon, working with primary care practices and multiple speciality clinics. It was this experience that landed him the role of manager of Hattiesburg Clinic Podiatry, a position he has held for just under a year.

Born and raised in Oregon, Adams attended West Governors University, but is a University of Oregon Duck at heart. He relocated to Hattiesburg in 2022 along with his wife and high school sweetheart, Kayla, and their two children – Camden (7) and Amara (4). It was a move that has served him well and showcases his giving spirit.

“The world around us encourages and breeds a culture of self-gratification, but when I give all of my time and talents to meet the needs of others that is when I am most fulfilled. It is when I feel I make a difference and have a purpose greater than the visions I have for myself,” Adams said.

Outside of work, Adams enjoys horticulture, landscaping, art and music. It makes sense that he is drawn to music, as Denny Carmassi, drummer for Heart, Sammy Hagar and Ted Nugent, is one of his close friends and mentors.

While he admits that working with feet may not sound like the most glamorous job, it is the patient satisfaction that he enjoys most about his position.

“We have an opportunity to see our patients walk out with a smile and immediate relief,” Adams said. “Not many get to experience that.”
