Meet Yette Tillman with Podiatry

When a patient enters the doors of Hattiesburg Clinic Podiatry, they are greeted with the familiar face of Yette Tillman, who has been positively shaping the patient experience in her role as a receptionist for an impressive 28 years.

In her role, she serves as the frontline ambassador for patient interactions, whether through phone calls or face-to-face encounters. She meticulously manages various responsibilities to enhance the patient experience, including greeting patients, addressing phone inquiries, coordinating referrals and appointments and efficiently handling payment transactions. Her dedication ensures a seamless and welcoming environment, contributing to the overall success of the Podiatry department and Hattiesburg Clinic.

Throughout her tenure in various departments of the clinic — specifically in physical therapy, family medicine and endocrinology — Tillman has consistently demonstrated adaptability, expertise and an unwavering commitment to high-quality patient care. “I enjoy talking with patients and getting to know them personally because you never know how a simple conversation will impact someone’s day,” said Tillman. “I have developed a level of customer service that emphasizes the importance of caring for an individual.”

Tillman hails from Wiggins, Miss., and is a graduate of Stone High School. She proudly holds degrees from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and The University of Southern Mississippi (USM). Interestingly, she is a former USM Dixie Darling, a fact that may surprise some. Currently, Tillman resides in Hattiesburg with her husband, Darryl, to whom she has been happily married for 28 years. Together, they have two daughters, Zaria and Sydney.

Yette Tillman’s remarkable journey of service at Hattiesburg Clinic has made her a deserving candidate for the Employee Spotlight. We extend our deepest gratitude for her persistent commitment to excellence.
