Norris received her medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Miss. She completed her residency in family medicine through the Forrest General Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Norris is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Mississippi Academy of Family Physicians and the Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholarship Program. Her special practice interests include women’s health and geriatric medicine.
