Kevin P. Blanchard, MD
Dr. Kevin Blanchard is a physician at Hattiesburg Clinic Gastroenterology. He earned his medical degree at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, La. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency, as well as a gastroenterology fellowship, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Blanchard has provided GI care and has been working toward colon cancer prevention for South Mississippi since he joined Hattiesburg Clinic in 2004. He provides treatment for a wide range of gastrointestinal diseases, including acid reflux (GERD), trouble swallowing (dysphagia), celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), chronic liver disease, and pancreatic and biliary disorders. He is trained in advanced endoscopic techniques, such as ERCP, esophageal pH monitoring and resection of complex polyps.
Dr. Blanchard, his wife Heidi, and their children are active members of the Hattiesburg community through extracurricular and church activities. In his spare time, Dr. Blanchard enjoys gardening and growing exotic plants.
