Vascular Surgery

With our patient-centered approach, the goal of Hattiesburg Clinic's vascular specialists is to alleviate pain, reduce symptoms and reduce the risk of serious complications.

Vascular Surgery Overview

Hattiesburg Clinic’s vascular specialists treat patients with conditions affecting the arteries, veins and lymphatic systems that primarily involve circulation from the heart to the rest of the body. We focus on circulatory issues to relieve pain, preserve limbs and effectively care for wounds.

Hattiesburg Clinic treats patients across Mississippi. From aortic aneurysms and carotid stenosis to peripheral artery disease, our board-certified specialists have the skills and expertise to effectively treat a wide range of vascular conditions.

Our services encompass endovascular catheter-based procedures and non-invasive vascular testing, including the comprehensive management of:

  • Aortic Aneurysms
  • Carotid Artery Stenosis
  • Peripheral Artery Disease
  • Venous Disease
  • Renal Artery Stenosis

Our Vascular Procedures

Utilizing the latest in minimally invasive techniques, we treat vascular conditions in many ways. Some of the common procedures we perform include:

  • Angioplasty
  • Stenting
  • Venous Stenting
  • Angiography
  • Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR)
  • Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR)
  • Thoracic Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (TEVAR)

About Our Endovascular Center

Our Endovascular Center is the first vascular physician-led outpatient procedure center of its type in this area. The facility, located adjacent to Vascular Specialists on the second floor of Hattiesburg Clinic’s main campus, serves as a private, outpatient setting for patients who undergo minimally invasive vascular procedures. The center includes four patient bays and one procedure room for catheter-based diagnostic and treatment procedures.

Some of the procedures that are offered include interventions for peripheral artery disease (PAD), such as lower extremity angiography, along with advanced venous therapies. The center is staffed by vascular surgeons, nurses with a background in sedation and critical care, and radiologic technologists who specialize in endovascular imaging.
