Lisa Carroll Presented with Cheers from Your Peers
The WOW! Committee would like to congratulate Lisa Carroll, a laboratory technician with Hattiesburg Clinic Family Clinic of Seminary, on receiving Cheers from Your Peers, an honor awarded to employees who exemplify Hattiesburg Clinic’s values. Each month, one employee or a group of employees is selected based on peer nominations received during that period.
Carroll is celebrated for her thoroughness and professionalism in the workplace, as well as for going the extra mile to make patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. In her position, Carroll performs a variety of tasks including collecting and processing blood samples, performing laboratory tests and ensuring accurate and timely results.
Her thoughtfulness was highlighted in a nomination by a patient, who stated, “My youngest daughter was seen by Lisa Carroll, and she was so sweet and kind to her.” The patient added, “She kept my daughter distracted with a fun-loving conversation while still collecting her complete blood count (CBC). When Lisa was done, she gave my daughter a fun ‘kid’ band aid to make her feel special.”
“Thank you for loving on my daughter and making her feel safe and loved! You are amazing at your job, and you deserve to be recognized,” the patient said.
