Immediate Care – Laurel and Laurel Family Medicine Presented with Cheers from Your Peers

The WOW! committee would like to congratulate Hattiesburg Clinic Immediate Care – Laurel and Laurel Family Medicine with Cheers from Your Peers, an honor given to an employee or group of employees who exemplify Hattiesburg Clinic’s values. Each month, one employee or a group of employees are selected based off peer nominations they received that month. The nominee(s) receive a surprise presentation by the Hattiesburg Clinic WOW! Committee. We are pleased to recognize this team for always going the extra mile to uphold clinic values, which include providing high-quality, patient-centered care and maintaining a calm, friendly and professional environment.

Their commitment to creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for patients goes beyond clinical expertise, extending to every interaction and aspect of their service. This was evident when a patient returned to the front desk to personally express their appreciation to Heather Hood, manager at Immediate Care – Laurel and Laurel Family Medicine, for the positive experience they had encountered. The patient shared, “I want you to know how pleasant it is to come here. Your lab staff is so nice, and I have very much enjoyed becoming a patient here.” Hood echoed this sentiment, emphasizing, “Shay, Heather and Autumn should be commended for their customer service and quality of care.”

Nicole Whitson, FNP, who works closely with the team, expressed similar praise. “I have never encountered a day where these ladies do not go above and beyond to take care of our patients,” she said. “Heather Hood should be extremely proud of her group, as their ‘above and beyond’ attitude speaks to her leadership within the department.”

Thank you to everyone at Immediate Care – Laurel and Laurel Family Medicine for your dedication and wonderful care for our patients. We appreciate all that you do!
