Support Group for Bariatric Surgery Patients

Hattiesburg Clinic Weight Management and Forrest General Hospital have partnered to offer a Bariatric Surgery Support Group to patients who have undergone bariatric surgery.

The decision to have weight loss surgery is a life-changing one that can feel overwhelming without proper support and encouragement. The Bariatric Surgery Support Group will provide patients the opportunity to come together to receive new information, ideas and support to help promote success after bariatric surgery. Weight loss experts will be present to answer questions and provide advice to patients on their post-op journey.

The Bariatric Surgery Support Group will be held on the first Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m., in the cafeteria meeting rooms at Forrest General Hospital, located at 6051 Hwy 49 in Hattiesburg. These monthly meetings are open to anyone who has had bariatric surgery at any facility.

The support group will be held on the following dates:

• Tuesday, Aug. 1
• Tuesday, Sept. 5
• Tuesday, Oct. 3
• Tuesday, Nov. 7
• Tuesday, Dec. 5
