Support Group for Bariatric Surgery Patients
Hattiesburg Clinic Weight Management and Forrest General Hospital have partnered to offer a Bariatric Surgery Support Group to patients who have undergone bariatric surgery.
The decision to have weight loss surgery is a life-changing one that can feel overwhelming without proper support and encouragement. The Bariatric Surgery Support Group will provide patients the opportunity to come together to receive new information, ideas and support to help promote success after bariatric surgery. Weight loss experts will be present to answer questions and provide advice to patients on their post-op journey.
The next meeting will be held at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023, at Hattiesburg Clinic Weight Management, located at 6414 Highway 98 West, Suite 120, in Hattiesburg. A cooking demo will be performed. Bariatric shepherd’s pie and low sugar, high protein cookie dough will be available to taste. There will be no Zoom option for this meeting.
These monthly meetings are open to anyone who has had bariatric surgery at any facility.
