J. Brooks Becton, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Pediatric Neurology.
Dr. Becton received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed his residency in child neurology at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va., where he served as chief resident, and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Florida in Miami, Fla., focusing on drug resistant epilepsy management.
He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Child Neurology Society, the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society. He has special practice interests in epilepsy management, concussion management and return-to-play protocol.
At Pediatric Neurology, Brooks provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for infants, children and those up to 30 years of age with a wide range of neurological conditions.
