Meet Anna Beth Harvison with Hattiesburg Clinic Gastroenterology

Since joining Hattiesburg Clinic in 2019, Anna Beth Harvison, LPN, has been a dedicated part of the Gastroenterology team, serving as a licensed practical nurse with Porter H. Glover MD. In her role, she rooms patients, schedules procedures, takes patient calls and handles prior authorizations for medications – keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

A lifelong resident of Runnelstown, Miss., Anna Beth attended Jones College before beginning her nursing career at Hattiesburg Clinic. Looking back, she says she has gained lasting friendships and invaluable health care knowledge along the way, which is a true reflection of her passion and commitment to caring for others.

“The reason I became a nurse was to help patients feel better,” she said. “When I see one of our patients looking and feeling better, I know I did something right.”

What she enjoys most about her work is the people, both patients and coworkers. “We’re a close group who’s always willing to jump in and help,” Anna Beth said. “We work well as a team.”

Anna Beth has been married to her husband, Heath, for five years. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, baking and spending time with their beagle/blue heeler mix, Rosie Mae. She and Heath also enjoy challenging each other to bake offs, pumpkin painting competitions and other fun projects.
