Meet Shannon Aultman, LPN, with Hattiesburg Clinic Internal Medicine
Meet Shannon Aultman, a licensed practical nurse (LPN), with Hattiesburg Clinic Internal Medicine, where she works with Robert B. Brahan, MD, to ensure each patient receives high-quality care. Aultman has been with Hattiesburg Clinic for over two decades in various roles and locations.
Throughout her time with Hattiesburg Clinic, Aultman has seen the organization grow and evolve, offering new opportunities for professional development. “There have been many opportunities for training that have given me valuable experience,” she said.
For Aultman, the most rewarding part of her role is the personal connection she builds with patients. “My favorite part of my job is interacting with patients and making sure they feel they receive the care they need,” she said.
A lifelong Mississippian, Shannon was born in Bay Springs and raised in Smith County before moving to Covington County when she got married. Aultman is a graduate of Raleigh High School and Pearl River Community College, and her career has taken her across several communities, including Seminary, Collins, Puckett, Sumrall and now Hattiesburg.
Outside of work, Aultman loves to spend time with her four grandchildren, Lukas, Walker, Wells and Kinslee Grace, who fill her spare time with joy and laughter. She and her husband, David, have been married for 33 years and share three children.
People may be surprised to learn that Aultman is musically talented and plays the banjo as part of her love for bluegrass music. Her hard work, dependability and flexibility shine through in her career and compassionate care.
