Matthew T. Valentine, MD, is a physician with Hattiesburg Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
Dr. Valentine received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery through Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and a fellowship in adult reconstructive joint surgery through Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Valentine is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has a special practice interest in hip and knee arthroplasty procedures, including robotic procedures, technology-assisted procedures and direct anterior and minimally invasive hip arthroplasty.
Valentine has a special practice interest in total joint replacement. He focuses on diagnosing ongoing pain from total knee replacements, identifying the source of discomfort, and improving function and reducing pain.
At Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, he works to diagnose and treat orthopaedic conditions.
