Hattiesburg Clinic Sports Medicine

Hattiesburg Clinic Sports Medicine was established in 2002 to prevent, diagnose and treat injuries related to participation in sports and exercise throughout the Pine Belt.

Working very closely with our Orthopaedic Surgery and Physical Therapy partners– we strive to redefine health and wellness for athletes, active professionals and youth. We are also the proud sports medicine providers for 23 area schools and junior colleges. Through our school partnerships, we provide an athletic trainer to each school for sports events around the Pine Belt. Our athletic trainers work with students and coaches to assess, manage and treat injuries that occur on the field, court or track.

Our services include clinical examinations, therapy and repair for ankle, knee, elbow, hip, shoulder and spine. Whether you require short-term athletic training care or a long-term programming plan, our staff can accommodate needs through the following services:

    • Pre-participation physical exams
    • Prevention, treatment and clinical rehabilitation of athletic injuries
    • Strength training and sport-specfic conditioning regimens
    • Coordination of physician referrals
    • Valuable guidance for stretching, biomechanics, balance and core stabilization
    • On-site injury evaluations, immediate care (first aid and CPR) and follow-up attention.
