Psychology & Counseling Welcomes Brooklee L. Tynes, PhD
Brooklee L. Tynes, PhD, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Psychology & Counseling, where she provides counseling and comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose, treat and manage conditions that impact mental health.
Dr. Tynes received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Mississippi Department of Psychology in University, Miss. She completed an internship in rural integrated care at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Munroe-Meyer Institute in Omaha, Neb.
She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Association of Contextual Behavioral Science and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and has special practice interests in parent training and individual and family therapy.
“I enjoy connecting with others and providing opportunities for them to learn about their emotional experiences & behaviors. Teaching others how all forms of behavior communicate internal experiences is truly rewarding,” Tynes said.
