Hattiesburg Clinic Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine Welcomes Tamer H. Hudali, MD, MPH, FACP

Tamer H. Hudali, MD, MPH, FACP, recently joined Hattiesburg Clinic Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. He joins the clinic with 10 years of health care experience.

At Pulmonary Medicine, Hudali provides diagnosis and treatment of respiratory illnesses, including, but not limited to, COPD, asthma, interstitial lung diseases and lung nodules. At Critical Care Medicine, he provides care to patients who are in need of life support or other intensive medical care. He has special practice interests in COPD, asthma, emphysema, smoking related pulmonary disorders, bronchiectasis, airway diseases and in utilizing point-of-care ultrasound in clinic and the ICU.

Hudali received his medical degree from the University of Jordan School of Medicine in Amman, Jordan. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine and critical care at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Ala.

Hudali is board certified in pulmonary medicine by the American Board of Pulmonary Disease. He is also board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Hudali is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.

“The biggest driver for me in practicing medicine stems from my deep desire to help people. I can’t imagine a better job in making people healthier and happier than that,” Hudali said.
