The Poplarville Clinic Welcomes Bogdan
At The Poplarville Clinic, Bogdan provides acute and chronic care for patients of all ages with all types of medical needs, working in collaboration with Wayne E. Grayson, MD.
She received a Physician Assistant certification from Sisters of Charity Medical Center in Staten Island, N.Y., in 1999. Bogdan is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Mississippi Academy of Physician Assistants.
Bogdan’s training as a physician assistant includes a wide range of specialty areas, including primary care, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, emergency medicine, internal medicine, endoscopy, orthopaedics, geriatrics and surgery.
In addition to her many years as a physician assistant, Bogdan has experience working in clinical labs, including microbiology, blood bank and transplant departments.
“My goal is to make a connection with each patient so I can better understand their needs,” she said. “What I enjoy about working in health care is the challenge of day-to-day decisions made to help optimize patients’ health, hopefully, improving their quality of life.”
