Pulmonary Medicine Welcomes Boyd
Boyd works alongside physicians to provide comprehensive COPD management to patients. He has a special interest in providing care for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Boyd earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Miss., and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, in Mobile, Ala.
He is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the American Nurses Association.
Boyd said his primary focus as a provider is to help patients obtain a higher quality of life through individualized management of their disease.
“Working in health care has given me great satisfaction. I truly enjoy the personal connections with my patients as we work together to improve their quality of life,” said Boyd.
