Hattiesburg Clinic Pediatricians Recognized by American Academy of Pediatrics
The Mississippi Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has recognized two Hattiesburg Clinic pediatricians for accomplishments within the area of pediatrics.
Henderson was recognized for her tireless efforts to promote breastfeeding in the local medical and hospital community, leading efforts for Forrest General Hospital to achieve the sought-after “Baby Friendly Hospital” designation. Additionally, Henderson was voted by her peers as the chapter’s vice president/president-elect.
Shook was recognized by the AAP for his service as the chapter’s expert on reimbursement, coding and Bright Futures implementation and for sharing his knowledge and expertise across the state.
