Hattiesburg Clinic Opens New Podiatry Department
Hattiesburg Clinic is pleased to announce Aaron M. Israel, DPM, is now offering services and accepting new patients at the new department, Podiatry – Pine Street. Israel will also continue seeing patients at Podiatry – Picayune.
The new specialty department is located at 908 W. Pine Street, in Hattiesburg, Miss. At Hattiesburg Clinic Podiatry – Pine Street, Israel provides medical treatment for conditions affecting the foot and ankle. These include ingrown toenail removal, heel pain treatments, diabetic foot care and other relevant concerns.
Israel received his medical degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence, Ohio. He completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at United Health Services Hospital in Binghamton, N.Y., with an added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery.
Israel also has special training in pediatric orthopaedics from Sinai Hospital: Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Md. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and has special interests in diabetic foot care, biomechanics, and nail and skin care of the foot.
“My focus is to help my patients walk pain-free,” Israel said. “I believe most foot pathologies can be treated conservatively without surgery. I enjoy seeing my patients walk out of my office no longer in pain.”
