Hattiesburg Clinic Opens Children’s Clinic – Petal, Welcomes Carden
Hattiesburg Clinic is now offering pediatric services in Petal as an extension of its Children’s Clinic.
Children’s Clinic – Petal, located at 206 Old Corinth Rd., has opened with the addition of pediatrician Nicole E. Carden, MD. At Children’s Clinic – Petal, Carden provides care for children who are well and sick, from birth to young adulthood, and has a special interest in the management of asthma and allergy.
Carden received her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Miss., and completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Carden is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Association.
Services offered at the new Petal location include childhood and teen immunizations, treatment of childhood illnesses and monitoring growth and development.
Carden said her goal is to serve her patients and their families with compassion and empathy and help them grow into healthy, happy adults.
“I chose medicine because of the unique opportunity to help people become and remain as healthy as possible, and in the case of children, watching them grow up in that health,” she said. “I enjoy working with kids and their parents to ensure wellness and to provide the best quality of life possible.”
In addition to Carden, other pediatricians will be rotating services at the clinic. They include Aprile C. Gilmore, MD; Leigh A. Haden, MD; Megan M. Harvey, MD; Yakeyla Naylor, MD; Susan L. Robbins, MD; Matthew C. Whittington, MD; Jeffrey C. Williams, MD; Pamela A. Love, CNP; and Amanda C. Whiddon, CNP.
